Freshwater Fish Directive – 2006/44/EC (FWD)

DDirective 2006/44/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 6 September 2006 on the quality of freshwaters needing protection or improvement in order to support fish life (OJ L 264, 25.9.2006) (codified version replacing and repealing Council Directive 78/659/EEC on the quality of freshwaters needing protection or improvement in order to support fish life [1]. The Directive has been repealed by Directive 2000/60/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 23 October 2000 which establishes a framework for Community action in the field of water policy [2]

Shellfish Water Directive – 2006/113/EC (SWD)

Directive 2006/113/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 12 December 2006 on the quality required of shellfish waters[3]. The Directive has been repealed by Directive 2000/60/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 23 October 2000 which establishes a framework for Community action in the field of water policy [4]
