Water reuse can contribute to meeting a number of water needs for the environment and different business sectors, among which there are:

  • industrial uses: such as cooling water, process water, aggregate washing, concrete making, soil compaction, dust control;
  • Urban/landscape uses, such as irrigation of public parks, recreational and sporting facilities, private gardens, road sides, street cleaning, fire protection systems, vehicle washing, toilet flushing, dust control[1]
