Open data

Presently, the term [open access] also encompasses the free access to the research data that underpins publications or research projects, also referred on its own as Open Research Data (OD). Open Research Data is usually distributed with requirements of attribution and share-alike (copies or adaptations of the data need to be shared using the same principles as the source).
